I can't say for sure from such a short clip, but it sounds like you might be playing it with a 6/8 rhythm instead of 3/4. If you can't handle the hardest passages, you might want to shelve the project for a later date when you are further along with your piano skills.Īnyway, for some more specific advice for the clip you submitted, I'd like to talk about the rhythm. I always did this myself as a measuring stick when trying out new pieces that were large and difficult. I'd also strongly advise starting with the hardest parts (the coda and the last 2 or 3 pages of the B section). For any works of this size, I always recommend practicing the sections separately and out of order. Don't rush anything! You'll only be doing yourself (and Chopin) a disservice if you try to brute-force your way through this piece.
